This opal already had a story before it became a ring. It was a gift from her sister-in-law, and after seeing how much other shops were charging just to set gemstones, they were happy to remember they could simply ask us to work on it.
We created a clean, flowing gold setting that lets the opal stay the focus while giving the ring a more modern shape. Since it was finished, the design has received a lot of compliments—which makes this piece even more special.
